MS Project fails at startup

I recently started to have failures when starting MS Project 2003.

Re-installing does not resolve the issue!

I have also removed the global.mpt - to no avaol.

OS Is XP running Service Pack 2.

Anyone seen (resolved) this issue.

Doc,

Further explanation would be helpful. Like:
Are you trying to connect to the server on startup?
How far does it get?
What error messages do you get?
What other programs are running when it happens?
What changed since this started happening?
Is project setup to open that last opened project on startup?

A problem like this can't be diagnosed effectively without some kind of context.
