My office is looking to purchase some PDA/Phones for our Project Managers. I
am having trouble finding out if there are any on the market that can use
Project either as a read-only or functional program

Do you think it is practical? It is hard enough using Project on a
normal desktop size screen.

There used to be some Palm based software that could represent Project
Gantts on a Palm. Don't know if it's still around. I believe it had
very limited functionality, but at least gave you some sort of task
view.

I tried on Windows Mobile 6 (no touch screen) with as little security(developer registry keys) as I could manage, and it didn't
work.
I have filled out PWA from a Windows Mobile (with touchscreen) using remote desktop.
