I upgraded to MS Project Pro 2007 and now I cannot connect to my MS Project
Server 2003. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how did you resolve?

Newbie2 --

I have bad news for you, my friend: you CANNOT connect to Project Server
2003 from Project Professional 2007. Hope this helps.

I got this just in time. I will uninstall 2007 first and then install 2003
then install 2007 again without selecting upgarde.
Thank you.

Sorry for being dense on this but I am not sure what this means to us. We
have MS Project Server 2003 and most users are still on MS Project
Professional 2003. Some have been migrated now to MS Project Professional
2007 and we are having difficulty getting those users to access the server.
Is there any way to do this?

Hi Dale,

As Dale Howard noted in his reply to Newbie2, you cannot connect to
a MS Project 2003 server using Project Pro 2007 version.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Gary thanks for the reply. So then there are two choices. Leave everyone on
MS Project Professional 2003 and continue using MS Project Server 2003 or
move all users to MS Project Professional 2007 AND upgrade to MS Project
Server 2007. Is that correct or are there other options?
