MS Project Reports

How do I customise the "should have started tasks" report so that it shows
how late, in days, the late tasks (ie. tasks that should have started) are?

Hello Lynn,

The "should have started tasks" reports is based upon the variance
table. If you have baselined your project and applied tracking to
tasks, if there is a difference between baseline start and start you
should see start variance in the report.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Hi jules
I had added a baseline but at this stage in the project, what I think I need
to do is go back to an older version of the project, save that with a
baseline and then the days will work. My mis-understanding of the point of
the baseline.

Many thanks for your help
Lynn

Lynn,

You're most welcome. Try reverting to the earlier version, save the
baseline and see if you get what you are seeking. Do post again
should you have need.

Best,
Julie
