MS Project Server 2002 compatibility with MS Project Pro 2003

Can anyone advise me about the risks/issues related to this combination?
I am relying on MS Project Professional 2003 currently and pushing for a
Project Server installation and was recently able to locate a 2002 Server
copy.

Will this work, even in the interim, or do I need to push to get this
upgraded to be effective? Any comments would be GREATLY appreciated!
