MS Project Server 2003

I am new to the subject and was curious if anyone could point me to a good,
"How to" setup MS Project Server 2003 in lieu of the one that is on the MS
site?

If you are using the following guide :

then I know of no better free guide for installing PS2K3 - it covers single
server, multiple server and demo server type installs. If you follow it you
can pretty much get a deafult install going (what you do with it after that
is a different matter).

What is it about this doc that you find doesn't quite tell you what you need
to know to install the app?
Are you just trying to get a test system up to play with the app? Are you
having specific problems?
