MS Project should allow me to access the Journal feature in Outlo.

Many times when people develop a Project schedule, many of the events have
aready happened and the schedule is needed to chart future growth. Sometimes
this is due to funding considerations. For example: you have been marketing a
client with new IT capabilities for about 8 months and then the IT project
for application development comes through -- now you have to build a project
plan, but the coorespondence and meeting notes, that are on MS Sharepoint,
over the last 8 months have encapsoluated the thoughts and feelings for the
new tasks at hand. Why re-create the wheel? The information that has happened
over the last 8 months should be included in the MS Project schedule so when
I hand this task over to a SW developer, they just click the link on the
project schedule and can read my meeting notes, old e-mails, and other things
enteded into MS Sharepoint and the Outlook journal. If there was a way
convert an Outlook 'Journal' into MS Project, with the information in a MS
Sharepoint, then I just need to enter the future work, find the right SW
development resources, and my time for bringing a new person up-to-speed is
greatly reduced.

This isn't available, but you can create a Hyperlink against any Project
Task. So try adding a Hyperlink to the SharePoint site against the develop
Scope document task. The data is then just a click away.
