MS Project Template & File New or Auto_New event

I have several MPT template project files with different set of tasks in them.
I want @ File New - an event that would allow me at new file creation launch
a form or code. In Word & Excel there is the Auto_New event that template
files can launch code. there is the App_ProjectNew event but I can't seem to
associate it to my template files and kick it off when a user hits new
project..

The MPT template functionality in Project other than removing %complete &
baseline stuff is pretty limited

This code needs to be in the project global.mpt file. That file is always
open when you are using project and should always trigger when you start
with a new project. Putting the code in the new project is too late.
