MS-Project VBA script to read task from and update custom database

Hi,

I need the following solution:
- I got data in a custom database which represent tasks and resources
- I would like to program a VBA script which allows loading my custom data
into MS-Project, let the user edit it (e.g. schedule it) and then allow the
user to save it back to my custom database

So my questions are:
- Are there solutions, samples etc. I can download, buy which already
provide something similar
- If not what would be the best way to implement something like this?
- How would I get started please?
