MS Project Web Access Resource Availability

Help

When I view resources in MS Project web access, select a resource and
then select availability, I get tasking on non-working days such as
Sunday. The availability is zero on these days but I thought the
tasking should be reflective of the project in MS projest
professional. The project in MS project professional shows no tasking
on any nonworking days. I have set up an Enterprise standard calendar
and both the project and resource are using this calendar. This
problem is true with different rersources and different projects but
not all projects.

Also Any idea on how to match project professional "resource graph
view , and project web acess "resource availability . The red
overallocation of resources indicator on the graph view does not match
the same day when viewing resource availability on web acess.

Thanks in advance

The link describes actual work entered in a weekly basis is spread
over 7 days. My problem is; work is scheduled on Sunday through
Friday in the resource availability graph under resources in project
web acess.

Daniel:

Are you saying that future work is depicted that way or only past work?

Web Acess under Resource Menu, select a resource the slect " view
availabilty shows both past and future work on Sundays, never a
Saturday seems to be leveling on a weekly basis among 6 days
Sun-Through Friday.

Thanks

Both past work and future work. ie 11/09/2003 which is a Sunday and
every Sunday afterwards if the task duration extends through a Sunday.
Seems like the work is leveled across six days, never on Saturday. The
view in Project professional is ok as far as loading and no work is
shown on Sundays, but in Web Access Resource Menu-Resource selected
and then view availability, it shows wok scheduled on Sunday.

I have tried different settings, work week starts on Monday instead of
Sunday and have set the update availability data time frame in both
weeks before and after and also tried setting a fixed time frame in
the managing enterprise featears. I have checked resource calendar,
project calendar and task calendar but project professional shows ok.

Thanks
Dan

Hello,
I´m having exactly the same problem. Have you found a solution?

I fixed my tracking method to: Actual work done and work remaining in both PWA and MSP.
In my view I still have work on sundays but not on saturdays.

Thanks in advance.
