MS Proofing Tools 2003 wont install on Office XP 2002

I cannot understand how we pay good money for an
application (MS Office Proofing Tools 2003) just to find
out that you cannot install and use it because your
Office XP version is of an year earlier !
I got really upset with this because:
(i) there was no warning about this when I ordered the
Tools; (ii) I really need theses proofing tools for my
work.
And, by the way, what is that?
Is it to "induce" me to spend more money buying MS Office
2003?

I was equally frustrated to find out that I cannot use the Proofing Tools of
last year with this year's Office.

Hi Tom,

May I ask why you purchased software for Office 2003 when you are
using Office XP/2002?

Office versions are similar to automobiles, if you own a 2002 Pontiac
Grand Prix then you don't purchase parts for a 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix
and expect them to work for your 2002 auto.
