MS Publisher 2007

I have created a number of brochures in the MS Publisher 2007 program and
when I go to save it into PDF format it freezes up part way through the
saving process and the file is never converted to PDF.

After I have saved a Publisher file and go back into the file to open it I
get an error message saying that I shouldn't open the file unless I am sure
that it is from a safe source. Since I created the file I am sure it is from
a secure file and have no idea why this error message comes up.

Why is this program always crashing?
