'MS(r) Windows based Script host' error when checking mail

Recently moved to DSL connection with SBC/yahoo. Would
prefer to continue using Outlook express, but even if I
am logged off auto mail check brings up error window.
Does not affect capabilities, but I can collect a lot of
windows if left open.

Error signiture is
AppName: wscript.exe
ModName: ole32.dll
Modver:5.1.2600.1263

Any suggestions?
