MS Reader Addin not showing up

I have MS Office 2000 on my Win2K machine. I downloaded and ran the installer as instructed for the "Read in Microsoft Reader" (wordRMR.exe). It claims that it installs successfully, but there is no button on the Word toolbar, nor any menu item for it. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
