ms update error

I keep getting an error message when the sp1 download tries to install. It
reads "corrupted installation database"
How can I repair this. I have ran the repair office program and this didn't
work.
How do I fix this problem so the SP1 down load will install? Thanks

Perhaps the download itself is corrupt -
Assuming Office 2007 SP1 - perhaps download the full file and install
