MS Visual Basic compile error in hidden module : autoexec.bat

I have a problem in that when I open or close certain
office components ( word etc), I receive the above message
that sends me to a page to try and de-bug adode pdf maker
and palm. The MS knowledge base describes the problem
perfectly; but the fix has no bearing.

They fix suggests that I go to the XLstart program and get
rid of a file called UT2000 ( universal translator file),
then do a find for a ut2000.dot file and delete that also.

Unfortunately I don't have these files anywhere onmy
computer far less teh location suggested.

I don't seem to have any real problem with this aprt from
teh fact of a0 the annoying pop-up and then the VB file
that pops up and tries to de-bug the problem.

HELLLLLPPP Please!!!

Thanks in Advance

A "runtime" error means that there is an error in a macro or add-in
that is attempting to run. Typically these macros are created by a
third-party and are not part of the Office installation. (They could
also be caused by a malfunctioning macro virus as well)

Many third-party applications will create an add-in and place it in
the Office\Startup folder or use a COM add-in (DLL) to integrate their
software. For Excel the folder is XLStart.

The KB articles you found were close - but it referenced files you do
not have. What you need to do is move each file from the XLStart and
Office\Startup folder one at a time until you find the offending
add-in.

I suspect the problem lies either in the PDFMaker add-in or your Palm
add-in.
