MS: When installing Office DO NOT replace exisiting autocorrect da

B

bobsireno

When installing Office DO NOT replace exisiting autocorrect data! Not only
did the Beta 2 (don't tell me about unsupported betas) not import my
autocorrect data which I use to save time, it also wiped out my existing
Office XP and 2003 autocorrect items. This is golign to cost me hours to
repair. I supsect that a clean install will screw me up again. OpenOffice is
looking better right now. MS needs to please prevent autocorrect from being
replaced.

Thanks

What part about NOT installing a BETA on a production platform did you not
understand?

Sorry, user error is not Microsoft's fault. A clear case of PEBKAC.
