MS Word 2000 crashes when positioning cursor over Tools

Hello,

Just recently I am having problem accessing the Tools on
the main menu. Whenever I position the cursor on it, MS
Word 2000 would crash. The message "Microsoft Word for
Windows has encountered a problem and needs to close. We
are sorry for the inconvenience.. The Error Signature:
AppName: winword.exe AppVer: 9.0.0.6926 ModName:
winword.exe ModVer: 9.0.0.6926 Offset: 0040ea0c.
