Our Dell Optiplex GX260 desktops are currently running
Windows 2000 and Office 2000. This is a company created
image. We noticed that upon opening Word and navigating to
File - Find and searching for the text in the document,
word does not find the word we are looking for and creates
a "dummy" (non-functioning) window.
We have re-installed office from disk (this was originally
a NAL that was used to build the image.) We have installed
all service packs and this has fixed the problem on only a
few of the desktops. Others it does not repair the "find"
feature problem.
This is not a huge problem but one that we do not seem to
have any answers. We may create a new image and apply all
the applications from scratch and not using NAL's.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!
