MS Word 2000 problem.

I'm getting a non breaking space inserting itself before a colon in some
paragraphs - but not all of them.
So for example following: becomes following :
not critical - just puzzling.
Can send the page from the file if you wish.
probably not specific to word 2000.

You might check your AutoCorrect entries under Tools/AutoCorrect
Options and see if there is an entry for either a colon or for various
words in which you are encountering the problem.
