MS Word 2000

Word will NOT indicate a miss spelled word. And will NOT
spell check when highlated. What can I do?

Check the language of the document (Tools | Language | Set Language. It's
probably set to "(no proofing)" (Word 97 and earlier) or "Do not check
spelling and grammar" (Word 2000 and above).

Also make sure the word does not contain numbers or typed in all caps.
If so go to Tools/Options/Spelling and Grammar and turn off "Ignore
words in uppercase" and "Ignore words with numbers".
