When i open a blank ms word document, the document
appears with grey lines in the background.Like the ruled
lines on a page. When i print the document, the lines do
not appear. How do i remove those backrgound lines from

Hi Saaheera,

Do the lines appear if you boot your machine in safe mode?

1. Restart your computer.

2. While your computer restarts, keep pressing the F8 key while the system reboots until you get the startup menu.

3. Select the Safe Mode menu option from the Startup menu, and then press ENTER.

If the document appears correctly in safe mode you will probably have to update your video driver. Let me know your
results!

Sincerely,

Try using Draw, Gridlines and clear the show gridlines option.
