I am using MS Office 2002(XP)and encountered the following
problem with an old Word file with many tables in it.
When opening the file I get the following error message
(yellow triangle with an exclamation mark) "A table in
this document has become corrupt. To recover the contents
of the table: select the table and choose convert Table to
Text from the table menu".
According to Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 328232, I
upgraded Office XP from SP-2 to SP-3, but the problem
still persists. I searched the Knowledge Base again and
found a Post SP-3 hotfix (Article 830807). I verified my
Winword.exe file as being version 10.0.6612.0 dated
1/15/2004.. The hotfix version is 10.0.6712.0 dated
4/26/2004.... Where can I get the hotfix ?? and will it
help ?
Thanks, Dave..
