MS Word 2003 and 2007 numbering with letters

when numbering a list in Word; starting at a. b. c. d. etc to z. the next
letter in the list should be aa. ab. ac. ad etc to az. then ba. bb. bc. bd.
to bz. but this is not the case. After a. b. to z. the list then is aa.
bb. cc. dd. to zz. then aaa. bbb. ccc. to zzz. So, when i have list that
is 122 lines long the 122nd letter is rrrrr. I beleive this is an error in
MS Word - or is it something i can fix on my computer?

You can use fields to create this type of numbering in Word. See this
