MS Word 2003 closes abruptly

I just installed Office 2003 professional on an XP
workstation.
When I run MS Outlook, I can't work with Word. When I open
a document or start a new document, Word closes after
about 5 seconds.
When I don't run MS Outlook, Word doesn't give any
problems.
I reinstalled Office two times (clean) but the problem
persists.

Has anyone a clue?
