MS Word 9 from 10 on CD RW

Bill

I created a RW CD in MS 10 using MS XP operating system.
On another computer, where I have MS ME2000 ans Word9 when
I opened the word document it became a Read Only document.
Can you advise me how to proceed to be able to work with
my documents? Please e mail me directly, thanks.

Word regards all CDs as read-only. We don't do email here; that's not the
way NGs work.

Anytime you open a document from a source that does not
allow you to write back to the original location (either
by permissions or data format) you will receive the read
only. You can still edit the document, you just have to
save it to a location that you can write to.
