ms word and microsoft office word

I want to know what is the difference between MS WORD and
MICROSOFT OFFICE WORD 2003. Why does turnitin.com not
recognize my OFFICE WORD document as MS WORD FORMAT. This
is school related and can't get a straight answer from
anyone. Some please help--I need to graduate. Thanks.

I assume you've done this and gotten no help?

What do you have Office 2000 or Office 2003?

They are the same program, so shouldn't be a problem.
Does your document have the .doc extension? Does Turnitin.com have special
rules about what the file can be named?

If this is being emailed as an attachment, there is also a possibility that
the document is being corrupted during transit and is being rejected. The
most secure way to send Word documents is to Zip and email the file with a
utility such as WinZip. But you will need to check with turnitin to see if
they accept zipped files.
