MS Word and Outlook 2003 report a dialog box open when there isn't

MS Word Errors

This is a disturbing dialog box that always shows up since I installed
Windows XP SP2. I have turned off all unnecessary items and I still get the
problem. In Outlook 2003, it will not let me send emails so I have to use
Outlook Express.

The exact phrase is this:" The command cannot be performed because a dialog
box is open. Click ok and then close open dialog boxes to continue.

If you are using Norton Anti Virus, deselect the Office Plug-in option under
Preferences in NAV.
