MS Word and Powerpoint 2007 opens slow and crashes

Whenever I open MS word or powerpoint, it takes at least 40 seconds for it to
open. Opening documents is a nightmare, it's impossible. Then when I go to
close word or powerpoint, vista says "word/powerpoint has stopped working"
then it wants to find solutions to the problem (which there isn't any). I am
running Vista on 1 GB of RAM, which I was told that could be the problem. Can
anyone help?

It suggests a corrupt or incompatible printer driver. Check that you have
the latest printer driver downloaded and then delete and reinstall the
printer.
