MS WORD: Character coordinates, textcolumns information

Hi All,

I have two questions... and I can't find the answers. Maybe somebody can
help me. I use Word2000.

1.) Is there any way to get character coordinates via automation? I would
like to know that where are the characters on the rendered page.

2.) If I have a multicolumn section how I get the actual column number for
each character? Is it possible at all?
