MS Word/Error in VBE6.DLL

I opened a document in Notepad and now MS Word 2000 will
not open. It gives the following message: Error in
VBE6.dll try restarting your computer. I tried restarting
but it still won't work. I've downloaded all the updates
for Word 2000 and it still doesn't work. Does anyone have
an answer for this? Please reply. Thank you.
