Running Windows XP updated to service pack 1 on an IBM T41 e/w the centrino
processor

Recently loaded Office 2003 and updated to service pack 1 ver. 11.6113.5703

Within a minuite after MS Word loads, an error message is displayed. This
message is similar to the one expected when there is a corrupted normal.dot
file except the error signature is different.

Error Signature follows:
AppName winword.exe
AppVer. 11.0.6113.0
AppStamp:40077019
ModName hpzntp07.dll
Mod ver:2140.0.0
ModStamp:3d9e11110

In addition, the problem also occurs, (within that minute or so) when I open
a known good word document. I get the same error message. I have
reinstalled Office from the original disk, and ran "dectect & repair" from
the Word help menu. None of the above appear to recognize or fix the problem.

Thanks Herb

The error signature modname suggests a problem with your printer driver. Try
deleting and reinstalling your printer in Start | Control Panel | Printers.

It could be your default printer driver is stored on the network,
rather than your local drive, and the network is unavailable or Word
is unable to find the driver on the network.

If this sounds like what you could be encountering then try installing
a local printer driver, using the Add Printer Wizard, and see if that
resolves the issue.
