MS word freezes

Hi,
when online I may copy and paste an article displayed in my browser into MS
Word. After launching it, MS Word freezes as soon as I right click and go
down to 'paste'. Noticed it's a sure bet if other software like Adobe Acrobat
reader are runing.
What causes the problem?
