Ms Word hangs before saving file to network drive

I have recently been troubled with Ms Word taking up to
minute to save only 2 or 3 characters in a document when
saving to a network drive. This is after we have
installed the recent patch for the new virus/security
hole threat we had... But it does work fine when saving
to a floppy or hard disk drive. Any
suggestions...Microsoft's knowledge base have somewhat
proven futile...PLEASE HELP

Hi Witon,

Which recent patch did you install? What version of Word are you
using? What patches do you have installed for Word? What is your
network os?
