MS Word not responding when using page setup

I can open MS Word and open a document, however, when I try to access "File"
"Page Setup". MS Word hangs and I get notified that MS Word Not Responding.
How do I resolve this?

I spent a great deal of time with HP and they assured me that my printer was working fine and suggested re-installing Word again. It was just done today, and still no sucdcess.

You might try renaming Normal.dot.
