MS Word Runs Slow

Is there a way to speed up MS Word when working with large documents containing tables? Once my document over 100 pages, MS Word runs extremely slow.

For Word 2000 (other versions may be similar) Go to Start, Search and
find the Support9.DOT file. Double click to run it. Click on "Sample
Macros", Select "Registry Options", Select "CacheSize", Put 128 in the
"Setting" box, Select Close, and Exit. When you restart Word it should
be faster for those large files.
