MS word scanner and camera add-in

Hi, hope someone can point me to a spot where I can download the "scanner and
camera add-in" for MS word. I'm currently halfway across the world from my
MS Office cd, which I stupidly left at home - I'm looking for some way to get
my digital camera pictures into my word documents and I think this add-in
would do it. Is the add-in available anywhere other than from my Office cd?
Thanks!

To insert a picture into a Word document, select Picture from the Insert
menu and then navigate to the folder containing the pictures and select the
one that you want.

Never heard of a "scanner and camera add-in"

In some older versions it was necessary to install Photo Editor in order to
get the Insert | Picture | From Scanner or Camera menu item.

Provided you have the connecting lead from your camera, or a card reader,
you can save the images from your camera to a PC. Those images can then be
inserted into a Word document insert > picture > from file.

Thanks all, I guess I should have specified my problem. I'm in Japan with a
Japanese-made camera...inside a Japanese-made cellphone actually. My
English-language operating system cannot detect the camera - no matter what I
do - so it's sadly not as simple a matter as transferring the files over to
my computer. What I am hoping Word can do for me is to transfer the image
directly into a Word document from the camera, using the "scanner and camera
add-in"...
But I can't install that add-in without my MS Office cd, which is far far
away from Japan right now.
Does anyone know how I can get this add-in?

If the PC's OS cannot see the phone (try the camera manufacturer's web site
for a driver) then neither will Word.
