MS Word starts up with text instead of blank page

I believe this started after a crash. Each time I launch
Word it displays text from a document I must always
replace. It seems to be recovering a file. I have saved
it as the default name but to no effect. I read KB 211632
and searched for WR*.TMP on Chidden and system) and our
LAN but found no temporary files. How can I cause Word to
purge this behavoir?

Open Normal.dot. Delete its contents. Save.
