Hi .. I am hoping that someone may be able to help me (the last time I used
this community site it was extremely helpful) .. anyway, I have Vista and
Microsoft Works 8.5, when I received doc files sent by email they are saved
and viewed through Microsoft Word Viewer, which is great. Howeever now I
have a couple of these documents which I want to edit in MS Works 8.5.
Included in this document is a company logo which is two letters partly
overlapping each other, which when copied the two letter's seperate .. is
there anyone out there who can help me ??? can these doc files be save in
another format so I can edit without having to copy & paste ?? Thanks ... Yan

Yeah, it's quite possible - some of us do work both sides of the street :)

This one is a bit platform-specific, though, because Works & Word Viewer
aren't available on Macs & neither are something most of us would use.

Good Luck |:>)

Hi Yan:

I am one of only two or three people in here who use Vista (only when I have
to, under protest...) and I do not know the answer, which is why I said
nothing the first time.

Sorry: You need to try the folks in the room down the passage, where Bob
sent you...

What Bob is tell you is that you are in the wrong "room". There's nobody in
here who uses the software you are talking about. Last time I checked,
there were 2,330 "rooms" on this server -- and you have happened to pick the
ONE of those where NOBODY will know the answer to your specific problem :)

Cheers
