ave had no trouble with the pre installed works suite on
my PC for 4 years. The problem is that when I try to open
Word, the Word about screen opens but no further. The PC
hangs and I get a white warning pop up stating the system
is dangerously low in resources. Using Symantec NDD and
every other utlity to tidy up, remove unwanted start-ups
etc. there is now only the NFConnect and Symantec loaded
from boot up, but a questionable 75% system resources
available when I look at the system performance
information. I have 256 SDD Ram, 7GB free disk, fully
optimised, defragmented etc. I have checked and repaired
all Registry errors, removed all data mining software on
PC, and de-installed / re-installed 6 times MS word from
the supplied disk, but the same problem exists.
help me please?
