The way I am reading this advisory, if you have the right
version of vbe6.dll, you are good to go. The advisory
says:
"Verifying patch installation:

Microsoft Office, Project, or Visio Patches:
Check the versions of the following files are as below (if
C:\ is not your system drive, check the Drive containing
the \Program Files folder):

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\VBA\VBA6
\vbe6.dll = 6.4.99.69
Microsoft VBA Patch:
Check the versions of the following files are as below:
VBA 5 - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft
Shared\VBA\vbe.dll = 5.0.78.15
VBA 6- C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft
Shared\VBA\VBA6\vbe6.dll = 6.4.99.69 "

Why are there different downloads for Office 2000, Office
XP, etc???? Why wont Microsoft® Visual Basic® for
Applications Update - Q822150 Versions 5.0 and 6.0 work
for all???

You're correct that it's the same set of installed files. The reason for
the differnt patches is that Office 2000 and Office XP leverage the Windows
Installer technology to provide resiliency for the installed components. If
one of these installed files becomes corrupted or is deleted, then an Office
Detect and Repair operation will reinstall the correct version of VBA.

If you install the 822150 update, then you may later need to apply the patch
again.
