MSAccess Record Locking Information?

What is MSAccess Record Locking Information attached to my Access file? I was
creating a database and i just saw it on the folder i was saving my file to.
It was automatically attached and i don't know what was it all about.
According to its properties, it is of unknown application. What am i suppose
to do with it? Would it be wise if i just delete it?

Just leave it. Out of the box, Access is a multi-user application. The
locking file is how it keeps track of what users are updating what records.
It's going to be created even if you're the only user, and it'll be deleted
when the last user closes the database.
