Hi,
I have an access file .MDE that was created on Office 2002 and sent it to a
friend to execute on his PC that has office 2003 but it does not work due
missing of MSADO15.DLL or Microsoft ActiveX Data Objects 2.8 Library.
In fact on the References, the word MISSING is not there but I found the
error after tried to open the same file, but this time with .MDB extension.
In the same popup of references, we tried to do the following using a blank
database: we clicked on "Browse" --> then we select the file MSADO15.DLL from
C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\ado\ and clicked on "Open".
But the fact is that the MS ActiveX ... 2.8 Library does not appear in the
references popup.
We tried to register the DLL using the following command:
regsvr32 "c:\program files\common files\system\ado\msado15.dll" but anyway,
nothing changed.
I do not have any extra idea.
Anybody could help me with this issue?
Thanks in advance!
Alex
