mscomm receive garbage

Hi

I'm using the MSComm module in access2000 to receive data.
The other side is always sending data.
Settings are the same on each side.
When I open the port and make a MSComm1.input, I get garbage.
I tried to open the port before the other side send data and it worked
perfectly but it was a test and I can't do it this way.

Is there anything I can do?
