Hello...I continue to get the error message #5001 when attempting to use
project server with MSDE (it was working prior to our upgrade to Server
2003). I am attempting to follow Microsoft's instructions on resolving this
issue (Knowledge base article #839773) and one solution is to delete the
project accounts from SQL server and then recreate them. How can I do this
within MSDE? I am using Web Administrator. I can delete their logins from
the database, but there is no provision for deleting the actual user
account. I tried a third party administrator and it gave me the error
message stating that objects cannot be deleted. I also tried deleting them
using osql.exe but they still show up in web administrator. Any suggestions
on how to delete these accounts (or how to get project server and the sql
database talking to each other again!)
