I have a client who runs Outlook 2002 on XP SP2. He recently changed ISPs,
and now uses a MSN Hotmail Plus email account, which works fine under
Outlook for messages he creates from within Outlook.
I have removed the profile for his previous email account, which was a
Comcast.net pop3 account.
Now, however, when he clicks a weblink to send an email, Outlook sends the
message using his deleted profile, with the return email address of his (no
longer existing) comcast.net account. I've looked at the headers of
messages created this way to verify that's what's happening.
Where is Outlook (or XP) getting this profile information, and more
importantly, how can I remove it so weblink-generated messages are sent from
his default (and only) MSN Hotmail Plus email account in Outlook?
