.msg internals

Does anyone have any info on the internals of outlook .msg files?
I know it is a microsoft compound document file. What I don't know is
how the __properties_version1.0 stream is constructed, and how it
relates to the other __substr1.0, __attach_version1.0, and
__recip_version1.0 streams.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
