My Junk E-mail folder in Outlook 2003 with SP2 or SP3 is supposed to convert
HTML messages to plain text. But it doesn't - HTML is displaying.
Messages are being moved into Junk Email as I'd expect from my previous PC,
but they're displaying as HTML.
I have a new PC with Outlook 2003. I had SP2 installed and found this
problem. I've since fully uninstalled Office 2003 Professional, and
reinstalled it, and then applied SP3 as that has just become available, but I
get the same problem.
I tried deleting the PST file (I'm using a home PC with POP3 account) to
force Outlook to recreate a new set of folders, but I still get the same
problem.
I have a time-limited version of Norton 2006 which came with the PC - I
believe it's virus scanning emails but not looking for Spam.
What's gone wrong? How do I reset it.
Thanks for your help,
David
