MSHTA.EXE trouble

I wonder if anybody can advise or point me in the right direction.

Everytime I open user acounts and try to open the way users log on and off,
Mcafee seems to pick up on the fact that MSHTA.EXE is trying to execute
certain scripts, I have searched the net and seems that most people with
this issue find it causes trouble with the add and remove programs.

I am trying to find out whether I need to bother with this and if so how to
safely remove it.
