MSN Express to Outlook Migration

Can anyone assist me with either of the following
problems? Any help would be appeciated very much:

I'm having trouble migrating from Outlook Express to
Outlook with a MSN Hotmail account.

First, Express's "Export" feature (in the File menu) will
not export the old e-mail folders to Outlook (no errors,
it simply doesn't do anything).

Additionally, in order to get any new MSN e-mails through
Outlook, I exported my Express account, then imported it
into Outlook (Tools->Accounts->Export/Import). The
resulting account doesn't work correctly, however. When I
hit "Send/Receive", it behaves as if it is functioning
properly (it gives a "requested tasks completed
successfully" message), but does not send or receive
anything.

I'm currently using Outlook 2000 SR 1 (v.9.0.0.3821)

Outlook 2000 doesn't support hotmail (HTTP) accounts. That functionality
didn't arrive until Outlook 2002

Thanks very much, it looks like switching to 2002 will
solve this.
